Interviewing and sourcing funds for volunteer teachers in Tanzania

These three beautiful young tanzanians are secondary school teacher graduates who volunteer their services here without pay, in the hope they will eventually be allocated a paid teaching position.

While gaining experience is beneficial, some of these volunteers have been donating their time and expertise for over 5 years in schools where class sizes are up to 90, and methods are long outdated. Although we cannot change the way schools function here, we can bring positive change and dignity to these young people's lives by seeing their efforts are acknowledged, financially.

I am currently working to gain sponsorship funds to provide even a meagre $100 per month to some of these teachers by establishing a fund pool to be allocated by Australian based NGO, Team Vista.

In return for this small renumeration, teachers will #giveback to Team Vista, by assisting with tutorials for some of Team Vista's 350 sponsored students.

If you would like to learn more about teacher sponsorship and how you can help, please contact me. I am only too happy to talk with you, introduce you to these and other volunteers, and reassure you every $$ received is appropriated according to your wishes.

Every donations counts, and brings value and credibility to so many lives here.
