ABOUT THE PROPERTY.
The Lion King Homestay is a stately home of upper middle-class lifestyle of the African 80’s.
With a colourful past of vibrant family social celebrations, the 4-bedroom dwelling glimpses wealthy trappings of a more than modest family lifestyle.
Built in the 1980’s by a successful commodities importer and trader, the home was modern beyond its time boasting a built-in kitchen, complete with cabinetry and benchtops, opening onto a brightly inviting dining space and an even more elegant, large, open-living family space.
These areas and surrounding balconies, patio areas, gardens and lawns are all available for guest use, to be enjoyed at your leisure. Bathrooms are elegant with classic African tile décor.
Spacious rooms feature artisan made furnishings sourced from local craftspeople and businesses. Emphasis on earthy, handmade, natural or recycled. An authentic taste of African style.
Close to town but nestled amid family homes where day to day Tanzanian life plays out.
