OUR STORY
When I made the decision to volunteer in Tanzania in 2013, I certainly didn’t expect to feel a connection which would bring profound, long-term changes to my life and a caring love for the country, its people and its culture.
My desire to help Tanzanians, especially children, and the passion to create a financial base with which to do it, has impacted many lives in positive, caring ways and has fostered an awareness that better education can bring meaningful social and environmental change.
Today, One Love Tanzania is primarily financially responsible for the education of a number of vulnerable children in Arusha, and in Moshi, through Australian based NGO, Team Vista, and continues to find practical, cost-effective ways to support these children and many other short term education projects.

Tanzanian life is a tumultuous frenzy of color, activity, sounds, smells, and of course people. People driven by poverty, poor infrastructure, lack of support, and especially inadequate education….a country of unimaginable need and misunderstanding.

From beginnings in the Arusha and Moshi areas of Tanzania, OneLoveTanzaina.com, continues to work in these familiar surrounds sponsoring students, teachers and identifying paths best suited to our customised style of support. Restricted only by funds to bring even greater change.

Team Vista is an Australian based NGO (certified by Global Development Group) bringing compassionate support in the poorest, forgotten Kaloleni area of Moshi.
Highly respected by Local Tanzanian Authorities, other NGO’s, Private and Government Schools in the Kaloleni region, Team Vista are responsible for the education sponsorship of 350 primary, secondary and tertiary students and over their 15 years working in the country, already have numerous past students qualified or in meaningful employment.
Engaging an experienced local team base, enables Team Vista to run a raft of social impact projects, offer compassionate care for their sponsored children and their families when needed and work with local welfare authorities to build safe and reliable environments where children can flourish and follow their dreams.
OneLoveTanzania.com is proud to partner with Team Vista to make a difference to families existing in what was formerly the Moshi waste dump.
Tumaini for Africa Foundation is Based in Arusha, Tanzania, Tumaini for Africa Foundation is a family based Orphanage where children from fragile and desperate backgrounds are cared for in a safe environment, where family values are reinforced and education is a priority.
OneLOveTanzania.com has partnered with Tumaini for 10 years to revisit education practices and influence better education paths for these children.
Transforming these children’s lives and nurturing trust broken in infancy is an exciting and truly uplifting impact of our work. A lifetime connection, a legacy, a footprint. A journey not over yet, only limited by funds to give these young adults a future denied by fate.
